23 Products
Decorative trays are a subtle yet essential element of any tasteful arrangement. Beneath candles, candle holders and diffusers they protect the surface of your furniture from wax, heat and moisture, while visually pulling the individual pieces together into a single whole. Our range includes trays in a variety of materials and shapes — round, oval and angular — suitable for the dining table, coffee table, chest of drawers, bedside table or windowsill. They combine beautifully with vases, vessels and small decorations, so with just a few accessories you can easily create a stylish still life that looks considered and tidy — and move the whole setting whenever you need to.

Buying advice
Trays
A tray is one of those accessories that recede into the background at first glance, yet it is precisely they that decide whether an arrangement looks accidental or considered. It defines the space for a cluster of candles, candle holders or vases, so the individual pieces no longer look scattered and instead come together into a harmonious composition with a single signature. At the same time it serves a practical purpose — it protects wood, glass and lacquered surfaces from wax drips, from condensation off vases and diffusers, and from small scratches. When choosing, it pays to think about the material, shape, size and where you will place the setting.
How to choose a decorative tray
When choosing, start from where the tray will stand. A slim, rectangular shape suits a narrow windowsill or shelf, a round or oval tray stands out on a round dining table or chest of drawers, and oval and angular models create a natural axis along which you can neatly arrange several objects in a row. As a rule of thumb, the decoration should take up roughly two thirds of the surface — the rest forms a free border that gives the composition air and elegance. A tray that is too small looks cluttered, while one that is too big loses its role as a frame. The height of the rim also matters: a low, almost flat tray is versatile and lets the objects on it shine, while a higher rim emphasises the contents, catches wax or spilled water better and stops small items from rolling off. If you plan to move the tray, you will appreciate side handles or cut-out grips.
Materials and their properties
Metal trays look modern and are exceptionally durable; they cope well with the heat of tea lights and drops of wax and are easy to wipe clean. Wooden ones bring warmth and a natural touch to the interior, suiting both Scandinavian and rustic arrangements, but they call for care around moisture and direct contact with hot wax. Glass and mirrored trays visually brighten the space and beautifully multiply the light of the flames, though they are more fragile. Ceramic, porcelain, stone or marble look luxurious and have a pleasant weight that lends the arrangement stability, so they will not tip over even under taller candle holders. Rattan and wicker models, on the other hand, are light, airy and suit a natural or summery style.
Where to place the tray
Trays are not just for the dining table. In the living room they work on the coffee table beneath candles and books, in the bedroom they keep a candle, alarm clock and odds and ends together on the bedside table, and in the bathroom they neatly organise soap, a diffuser or handmade candles. Smaller pieces suit a windowsill or shelf, where they protect the surface and create a cosy corner. Thanks to their portability, you can simply set the whole arrangement aside before serving or move it while cleaning.
Arranging and care
When arranging, the rule of odd numbers works well — three or five objects of differing heights look more natural than a symmetrical pair; combine a taller candle holder with a lower candle and add a smaller vessel, pebbles or dried flowers. Always place burning candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave the flame unattended. Care for the tray according to its material: wipe metal and glass with a damp cloth, treat wood with a dry cloth and oil it lightly now and then, and wash ceramic in lukewarm water. You can remove wax residue by warming it gently or, conversely, by cooling it until the wax hardens and peels away. Thanks to its timeless design, a good tray will last for years in the home.

Safety notice in accordance with Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety
The decorative tray is a home accessory intended for decorative purposes and for holding light objects; it is not intended for direct contact with food. When using it with candles, follow these instructions:
- Place the tray on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials such as curtains, paper or textiles.
- Always place the candle in a stable, non-flammable candle holder or on a heat-resistant mat – the tray does not replace a candle holder and its surface may not withstand high temperatures; hot wax or a flame can damage it.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
- Do not overload the tray beyond its capacity and place only light decorative objects on it to prevent tipping over or damage.
- Clean the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth; do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents or abrasive tools.
- Protect it from prolonged exposure to moisture and direct sunlight, which may cause discolouration, cracking or deformation; store it in a dry place.
- Before each use, check that the tray is not damaged (cracks, peeling surface, sharp edges); do not continue to use a damaged product.
